Kevin Brockland

Kevin is a CFA® Charterholder with over 15 years of institutional investment and venture finance experience across emerging and frontier markets. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Indelible Ventures, a seed-stage VC fund based in Malaysia targeting tech-enabled B2B startups scaling internationally across Southeast Asia. Over his career, Kevin has collectively overseen more than US$500 million in assets under management. He served as Principal Investment Officer at the Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF), managing the Asia portfolio with investments across India, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Cambodia, having previously also covered Latin America. Prior to MDIF, he was Portfolio Manager at the Small Enterprise Assistance Fund (SEAF), an impact investor with US$400 million in AUM and a portfolio of over 100 companies spanning 19 countries across 17 funds. Kevin began his career in distressed-asset management at Tiger Group during the 2008 financial crisis, where he built experience across 50+ transactions per year and developed a deep understanding of credit structuring, corporate turnaround, and capital preservation in high-stress environments. He is a mentor with Endeavor Malaysia, a VC Lab alumnus, and a contributor to the Southeast Asian startup ecosystem through the Indelible VC newsletter and podcast. He holds an MBA in Finance and an MA in International Relations from Seton Hall University. At New Avenue Capital, Kevin leads fund strategy and investor relations.

Mark is a serial entrepreneur and institutional investor with over two decades of experience in private equity, venture capital, structured finance, and real-estate development across Europe and Asia. He co-founded Foxmont Capital Partners, a premier Philippine venture capital fund that raised over US$21 million across two funds investing exclusively in Filipino startups across the digital economy. Mark also co-founded AHG Lab, one of Southeast Asia’s leading independent venture studios, which builds and scales technology companies from the ground up. Earlier, he founded Philippines Urban Living Solutions (PULS), an affordable housing platform, and co-founded MicroSourcing (2007–2016), one of the Philippines’ largest outsourcing companies, which he built and scaled over nearly a decade. Before moving to Asia, Mark served as Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner at Development Principles Group (DPG), a China-focused private equity firm (2005–2012). Prior to that, he was Investment Officer at FMO, the Dutch development bank, deploying structured finance across emerging markets (2003–2005), and Vice President at Deutsche Bank in London (2000–2002). He holds an M.Sc. in International Finance from Erasmus University Rotterdam. At New Avenue Capital, Mark leads origination, credit operations, and portfolio management.

Antonio brings over three decades of corporate banking, project finance, and institutional lending expertise at the highest levels of Philippine banking. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President for Corporate Banking at BDO Unibank, the largest bank in the Philippines by total assets (over US$70 billion), where he managed key corporate lending relationships and structured financings across major corporate and middle-market clients. Prior to BDO, Antonio served as Director and Relationship Manager at ING Bank Manila Branch (2005–2013), overseeing structured trade finance, project finance, and corporate credit facilities for multinational and domestic corporates. Before ING, he was Managing Director at Transaction Advisory Services, Inc., a member firm of SGV/Ernst & Young (2001–2005), advising on M&A, restructuring, and corporate finance transactions. Since 2018, Antonio has worked as an independent banking and project finance consultant, advising on credit structuring, corporate governance, and large-scale lending across Southeast Asia. He is a Graduate Member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and serves as a part-time faculty member at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business, where he teaches courses on banking and finance. He also serves as an Independent Director on the board of Hann Holdings, Inc. He holds a Master of Management in Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. At New Avenue Capital, Antonio advises on credit risk, institutional banking relationships, and commercial lending strategy.

Jomi brings more than three decades of senior banking leadership, corporate restructuring, and distressed-asset management expertise across Philippine and international financial institutions. He was previously Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Asset Management at Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC), one of the largest universal banks in the Philippines, where he led the bank’s NPL resolution, special-assets recovery, and corporate restructuring operations. Prior to RCBC, Jomi held progressively senior leadership roles at some of the world’s most prominent financial institutions, including Citibank N.A. (Philippines), Deutsche Bank, ANZ Banking Group, Maybank, and Philippine National Bank. Across these institutions, his responsibilities spanned credit recovery, corporate lending, portfolio risk management, and institutional client coverage. His background encompasses the full credit lifecycle: origination, structuring, monitoring, workout, and recovery. He brings particular depth in distressed and non-performing asset management, having overseen large-scale portfolio resolutions across multiple economic cycles. He holds a degree from Ateneo de Manila University, studied Foreign Trade at the Thunderbird School of Global Management (Arizona), and completed the Advanced Management Program at IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland. Rene is a venture builder, finance executive, and economic policy expert with over 15 years of experience across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. He is Managing Partner and CEO of AHG Lab, one of Southeast Asia’s leading independent venture studios, where he has co-founded and scaled multiple portfolio companies in fintech, proptech, and enterprise SaaS. Rene previously served as a Venture Partner at Yellowfin Capital Partners, where he contributed to deal sourcing, portfolio management, and strategic advisory across early-stage technology investments in the Philippines and the region. Earlier in his career, he served as an economic policy consultant for the World Bank, UNCDF, and OECD, advising governments across developing markets on financial inclusion, SME financing infrastructure, and digital-economy policy frameworks. In academia, Rene served as Vice Chair of the Financial Management Department at De La Salle University in Manila, where he taught courses on corporate finance, venture capital, and entrepreneurship. Miguel is an investment professional and venture strategist specialising in transaction execution and startup growth across Southeast Asia. He currently serves as Junior Partner and Investments Director at Liquid Ventures, and as Senior Associate at Yellowfin Capital Partners, where he manages regional investment mandates covering deal sourcing, due diligence, financial modelling, and portfolio management across early- and growth-stage technology companies. Previously, Miguel drove strategic execution in the Founder’s Office at AHG Lab, working directly with portfolio company CEOs on growth strategy, operational improvement, and fundraising. He also held investment roles at Foxmont Capital Partners, one of the Philippines’ leading VC funds, where he evaluated and managed investments across the fund’s portfolio of 25+ startups spanning fintech, logistics, healthtech, edtech, and e-commerce. Miguel’s experience covers the full investment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, financial analysis, term-sheet negotiation, portfolio monitoring, and exit planning.
